New kids and holiday wishes.
We are proud to announce that Devon’s Nubian doe, Snow White (aka “Mama”), just gave birth to two kids. Both are males and they are absolutely adorable. As chance would have it, I was on a plane with Devon and Megan and Arcenio left the airport to run errands so no one was home. Anthony got home from school and went to do chores and saw the first little one already up and about. He noticed Mama was still in labor. The second kid was coming out the wrong way and was stuck. Anthony jumped in and saved the day by assisting with the birth. Both mom and kids are doing great.
Devon is hoping to use one of these as the new buck and possibly show him. The other will be sold. Everyone is so excited about the new additions!
I may not have a chance to post again until after the New Year, so I want to wish you all a Happy Holiday and a fantastic New Year. As the beginning of the year roles around, we’ll be gearing up for the planting season (already!). Much will be happening and I promise to try to keep you all posted as much as time allows.
